1. Pre-Configuration: Carrier Integration
Before you can offer roaming to your subscribers, your carrier connection must support it.
- Verify API Capabilities: Ensure your carrier's API (integrated via Telgoo5) supports International Roaming (IR) provisioning.
- CDR/Data Mapping: Ensure that your Call Detail Record (CDR) processing is set up to receive and rate usage coming from international partner networks.
2. Plan Creation & Roaming Policy
You define the "rules" of the roaming experience within the Plan Config (PC232) in Telgoo5.
- Navigate to Plan Configuration: Go to the gear icon in the top right and click Plan Config.
- Ensure Roaming Features: Click the pen icon next to the plan and state you choose.
- Define Rating Rules (OCS): Use the carrier details to define whether roaming is included in that plan.
3. Enabling Provisioning Triggers
Roaming often requires a "Service Provisioning" step to be sent to the carrier when a user crosses a border or attempts an international connection.
- Trigger Configuration: In the Telgoo5 backend, map the "International Roaming" service flag to the corresponding API command provided by your carrier.
- Activation: When a customer purchases a plan/top-up with roaming or triggers an international data session, Telgoo5 sends the necessary provisioning command to the MNO to enable the "Roaming" flag on the subscriber’s SIM.
- This can be activated or deactivated within the customer account under “Features” in Quick Links.

- Manage Usage: Use the reporting tools to track international usage in real-time to prevent revenue leakage.
Note: Because Telgoo5 acts as the orchestration layer, your specific configuration steps for the API payload (the technical command sent to the carrier) will depend entirely on the documentation provided by the MNO you are partnered with. Ensure you have the latest API Integration Guide from your carrier representative when mapping these commands.
